Cookies & Visit Data
This introduction site (about.pexxy.co.kr) collects visit data to learn how well our ads work. Here is what we collect, why, and who receives it.
1. What we collect
- That you opened a page (which page, and when)
- That you tapped an app download button (Google Play · App Store)
- Browser and device type, IP address, and a visitor ID stored in a cookie
We do not send your name, phone number or email.
2. Why
- To count how many people came from our ads (ad performance)
- To show PEXXY ads to people who may be interested (personalized ads)
3. Who receives it
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (the company behind Facebook and Instagram) — sent directly to Meta through a tool called the Meta Pixel. Meta is a US company, so the data is transferred abroad (e.g. the US) and handled under Meta's data policy.
- Our visit counter (Vercel Web Analytics) uses no cookies and only counts visits per page.
4. How long it stays
- The Meta cookie (_fbp) stays in your browser for 90 days.
- PEXXY does not store this data on our own servers.
- Data Meta receives is kept for the period set in Meta's data policy.
5. If you don't want this
- Clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
iPhone Safari: Settings → Safari → Prevent Cross-Site Tracking - If you have a Meta (Facebook · Instagram) account, you can turn off personalized ads in Meta ad preferences.
- The site works the same even if you block it.
6. Full privacy policy · Contact
Personal data in the PEXXY app and payment pages is handled under our full Privacy Policy (Korean).
